Riverside gay mens chorus

Every MenAlive season features three full production concerts. All ears will be treated to a wide variety of tunes from choral classics, to broadway musical favorites to top 40 hits. We promise a treat for the eyes as well with high energy dance numbers in a wide display of costumes and staging. Our most joyous concert of the year promises a delightful mix of traditional favorites with a few new MenAlive surprises!

The chorus is less than a year old, having been organized last August, but there was nothing about it that suggested immaturity. Musicianship and diction were exemplary, the dark tuxedos worn by all singers made for neat appearance, and the entrances and exits had been planned to achieve optimum efficiency, dignity and style. Not surprisingly, the most effective work of the evening was ''The Testament of Freedom,'' a World War II musical setting of writings by Thomas Jefferson that seldom fails to engender favorable listener response.
