Definitely enjoyed coming here Market Days weekend. Despite being a "lesbian" place, it was taken Nice bar which is open late night. Pity that the bartender here was so horrible and aggressive

Lambda Legal is a national organization committed to achieving full recognition of the civil rights of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgender people and those with HIV through impact litigation, education and public policy work. PFLAG promotes the well-being of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender persons, their families and friends through support, education, and advocacy. PFLAG provides an opportunity for dialogue about sexual orientation and gender identity to create a society that respects human diversity.

In fact, more and more LGBTQ collectives and event series have emerged over the years to provide more inclusive spaces for those with intersecting identities, including trans and non-binary people, women, and people of color. With this evolving scene in mind, this list includes some of the best LGBTQ bars in Chicago, along with recurring parties and events from some of our favorite queer collectives who party with intention. Dance, belt out a few show tunes, or sit back and simply bask in the scene.
